Deirdre on reading, writing and living - July 22nd, 2007

It's all over but the eye strain. Charles has been working on his final blog entry all day. (Spoiler alert!)

As you can see, the book has been thoroughly read. We even had to dash out on a tag-buying mission just to get through.

I'm glad he did it and I'm proud he did it. I remember, at some point in my twenties, I was coming off a string of bad dates with ignorant slobs. I wished that I could find someone who had a brain--of course he or she had to appreciate my brain.

Well I got what I wished for. He's smart, funny, loves cats, is politically progressive, great in intimate situations, and darn cute. And now that I've got him back from that innocent siren Clarissa, I'm going to hang onto him.
